Corporate Podcast Production for PAYTEF: Conexión PAYTEF

Podcast Conexión PAYTEF #04 · Buy Now Pay Later, producido por Your Agency
The project

Full production of the Conexión PAYTEF corporate podcast, PAYTEF’s audio and video program. PAYTEF is a company specializing in payment solutions for businesses, and the podcast discusses current events in the payment sector with leading guests.

We handle everything: interview preparation, rundown and timing, multi-camera recording at their offices, editing with an initial trailer, and delivery ready for YouTube, audio platforms, and social media.

A podcast with a guest: thorough interview preparation

Each episode of Conexión PAYTEF revolves around an industry topic and a guest. In the episode dedicated to Buy Now Pay Later, for example, the guests were the BUMPER team, with whom we analyzed how this payment model has evolved from a trend to a consumer habit.

Before turning on a single camera, we work with PAYTEF to define the episode’s focus: what we want the listener to take away, which questions open the conversation, and which ones close it. With this script, we prepare a briefing for the guest, ensuring they arrive at the recording knowing what will be discussed, without surprises and without losing spontaneity.

Timing: a rundown designed to keep the audience engaged

A corporate podcast is abandoned within the first few minutes if it lacks rhythm. That’s why each episode follows a rundown with blocks of defined duration: guest introduction, topic context, the main conversation, and a conclusion.

During recording, we control the timing of each block and mark the cut points, allowing us to record in a single session and arrive at editing with the material already organized. The guest and host only need to focus on the conversation.

Multi-camera recording and shot changes

We transformed PAYTEF’s meeting room into a recording set. We set up three cameras: a wide shot of the table, a shot of the host, and a shot of the guest, with a control monitor to supervise the framing at all times.

During editing, we alternate cameras depending on who is speaking and the intensity of each moment. Shot changes add dynamism to a long conversation and keep the attention of viewers on YouTube.

Sound is captured with lavalier microphones for each participant and an independent audio recorder, and softbox lighting achieves a uniform and pleasant light on both speakers, without reflections on the room’s glass wall.

An initial trailer to maintain engagement

Each episode begins with a short trailer featuring the best moments of the interview. This is the hook: the viewer knows from the first instant what they will hear and why it’s worth staying.

This resource reduces abandonment in the first few seconds of the video and also functions as a standalone piece to promote the episode on LinkedIn, Instagram, and PAYTEF’s other social media channels.

Editing, Graphics, and Publication

In post-production, we add the program’s intro, lower thirds with the guest’s name and title, music, and color correction, and mix the audio so it sounds equally good in a car or with headphones.

We deliver the video version for YouTube, the audio version for podcast platforms, and vertical clips with key moments for social media.

What we did for this project

  • Defining the topic and guest with PAYTEF.
  • Scripting questions, rundown, and guest briefing.
  • Setting up the studio at the client’s offices: cameras, lighting, and sound.
  • Multi-camera recording with three cameras and timing control.
  • Editing with shot changes, initial trailer, intro, and lower thirds.
  • Audio mixing and color correction.
  • Versions for YouTube, audio platforms, and social media clips.

The result is a corporate podcast with production quality that positions PAYTEF as a leader in its sector, allowing their team to publish regularly without worrying about the technical aspects.
